Sanda, who represents Pengana State Constituency, was defeated by Happiness Akawu of the PDP within the Home of Meeting election held on March 18.
Happiness is the spouse of the preliminary PDP candidate, the late Mathew Akawu, who died after the celebration’s major and was changed by his spouse.
The Pengana Constituency Returning Officer, Prof. Sati Chanle, who introduced the consequence, stated Akawu polled 9,926 votes to defeat Sanda who obtained 7,936 votes.
